Well actually masturbation is not bad at all, it's a pretty natural thing to do.
Actually not masturbating can cause you to be really horny, which can lead to several boners during the day, and even cause your balls to ache.

That's kind of a silly thing to give up (in my opinion) I think a better thing to give up is pop, or bad food, or something of that nature, masturbation is a natural thing, and if you think about it is actually a good thing for a teenager to do, it relieves stress, keeps the whole package working, and gives the teenager the ability to control their sex drive. I would say to not give that up and say you are going to get ripped, like I am going to do... :D
