So im in marching band(trombone) and im loving it, but i found that because of the time outside(humidity is like 60% and temp is at least 95+) i sweated ALOT. i also sweated under my foreskin, and i didnt clean under it one night and it got, i guess, infected. the inner foreskin and head got really red, sore and itchy, to the point that i couldnt even touch it, it was so sensitive. that happened several times and im thinking about circumcision, as i have wanted one before, but didnt have a medical reason and its too expensive. i really dont like my foreskin that much but am scared for the surgery. please help. dont tell me about the "dangers, bad stuff" about being circumcised. help from those who were circumcised in teen years!, i also have self esteem problems cuz everyone from around here is circumcised, and im pretty much the only one who isnt and they make fun of me

Personally I wouldn't worry about what people think or say they are assholes and shouldn't be looking at your junk anyway. I don't know if you pull your foreskin back to pee or not that might be part of your problem if you've taken anti biotics you might have a yeast infection. if you're sexually active it could be an STD. best thing would be to have your family Doctor check it out before you go get Circumsized.

have had them look at it they said that it was a yeast infection and it will only go away permantly is to get circumcised, honestly i really havnt had that great of a "relationship" with my foreskin. this has been a reocurrent problem since i was little and quite frankly im done treating it cuz it major SUCKS!!! and also my frenulum is way to short and gets micro tears in it which burn like h*ll when they get exposed.

I'm sorry but sadly the only thing that I can see from this, well I used to live in a place where the humidity was 80%-100% year round, it rained 6 months straight of the whole year, I run at least 5 miles per day so I sweat a lot, my shorts would be drenched in sweat and I have never had a problem with my foreskin, everyone there was uncircumcised, and never I heard anyone complain. I used to live in El Salvador a small country on Central America, the humidity its something no one will ever experience. What I get from your message is that "everyone" else is cut and they make fun of you, I mean you know that a just like an uncut guy can get an infection the way you did so can a cut guy get one too, with the same probability. Before you go ahead and get cut consider what you really want, NEVER DO something because EVERYONE else does it.

This can still happen even if you are cut. Circumcision is just mutilating your own body and doesn't really gain you anything. I was circumcised at birth, and stuff like this STILL happens to me if I don't wash it properly. Being circumcised won't fix it: proper hygiene is still required and won't make it any more or less likely to happen.

You will lose sensitivity and experience less pleasure from anything sex-related, there's also a pretty high chance of infections and other complications (an infection because of circumcision will make what you experienced look like it was nothing. It can be life-threatening)

people making fun of me and my anteater isnt the main problem, that has just helped me to think about it a lot more than i would have usually. when i mastrubate i get little micro tears on my frenulum, and that hurts, and only makes it worse the next time, also i get lots of these infections, i believe its called balanoposthitis, and that sucks and i can only think that circumcision is the best way to get rid of it in a nice high and tight style where there is no loose foreskin but the inner foreskin with the nerve endings is stretched along the shaft so that i still get that sensitivity along the shaft as well as the head. please dont go telling me how life threatning it is or etc. i just want advice from uncut guys that got cut mostly.

I'm just letting you know that from my own personal experience, it won't stop or make it any less likely for your to get infections down there. The only sure fire way to keep it healthy is to keep it clean. I was cut at birth and I still suffered from all of that, especially when I was just starting puberty. In fact, every single one of the symptoms of balanoposthitis, I have had them. Can't remember being diagnosed with it, but I do remember the creams I had to apply on my dick and how scared I was of touching the little bit left of foreskin I have until very recently (which made masturbation really weird and even painful).

Any kind of circumcision will remove several nerve endings and reduce sensitivity no matter what. The only way to not loose any of your penis functions and sensitivity is to not get cut.

When I started taking showers in middle school I found that I looked different from all my friends. I quickly found I wanted to have what they did not have. A foreskin. After worrying about it a long time, I finally got the guts to ask my parents if I could get circumcised. They said yes and it was done. When I had a foreskin, I never got infections but I did get the smell and junk under there even with daily washing. I really like being circumcised. I am like my friends and no smell or white junk. I also really like feeling my exposed head rubbing on my undies and sheets at night. To me it sounds like circumcision would answer all your problems. As one that has been through it, the surgery is not that bad. A little sore for a few days but then it is all over forever. thanks that is what i have been looking for. i really hate being uncircumcised, and all of my friends are circumcised, but as far as the surgery goes, pubes? mastrubating? how different is it? and erections? and how to cope with the pain the first week or so? and how long til it gets well enough to walk "normally?"

There's also alternatives to circumcision: live reducing or removing the frenulum that leaves your penis and foreskin otherwise intact. Those are easier, and better options than having your dick permanently disfigured by circumcision.

i know that there are other treatments for this thing like frenuloplasty, but i have wanted a circumcision since i was 13, brought it up to my parents and had been rejected because of cost($1500 under local, $5000+ under general(sleep)) and now that i have a medical reason the doctor can report it as a medically necessary procedure and insurance can pay for it

My friend was circumcised 5 months ago for medical reasons too. He is glad that his foreskin cannot cause problems anymore. But he still prefers uncut over cut. Just wanted to let you know.

I really think that when it comes down to it there isn't too much different especially the way I'm gonna get cut. In gonna have(if i get it done) a small amount of shaft skin removed and all of the outer foreskin, but have most of the inner foreskin left, just have it stretched over my shaft. It's called high and tight. Also I'm only cool about it cuz I have been thinking about it for a couple of years now. Since I was 13 actually.

They don't bother your pubes. Masterbating has to wait 2 or 3 weeks. I think it is great feeling your exposed head always rubbing on your under wear when you walk. Erections again feel great. Any pain is controlled with medicine. I took something strong for maybe 2 days. After that it was Tylenol. I walk out of the clinic where it was done. Just wear lose shorts.

Dude I am, and wish I wasnt. It makes me mad that decision was made for me. I want it back. You just have to wash it every shower. I was robbed of about an inch and some girth. Supposdly uncut guys have more feeling during sex. Cut is all dry looking and the wrong color. Its like haveing your own masterbation toy built in.

The third time it came back my Dr. said I might have to consider circumcision if I wanted it gone for good. I held off till a couple things more happend, scared of the circumcision but sort of liking having that kind of penis. Eventually, it didn't go away and I was scheduled to be circumcised in an outpatinet surgery center. Everyone was nice and it wasnt embarraassing like I feared. Just anouther day at work for them and they were very supportive of me and what i was doing. The first week of healing was sore and swollen but not really painful. Not being able to play with it was the hardest part. By about 1 month it looked and felt good and just as gotten better over the 5 monthes. Very happy I did it. No major lossof feeling like people say on the web or any other bad effects. I'm totally positive about what I did. Hope this helps.

If you want it done, then get it done. Your old enough to understand the possible risks from having the procedure, and its your body, therefore your choice. Elective surgery isn't free, and you'll have to get your parents to fund it (If in the US, Medicaid doesn't fund it in many states anymore). You won't feel any pain, either with General Anesthetic (which is usually Propofol, or Thiopental) or with Local Anesthetic which is usually Lidocaine, usually a 2% 5CC dose for circumcisions. After the surgery you'll be given some medication, but to be honest Paracetamol and Ibuprofen will work just fine. If they use dissolvable stitches you won't have to worry about having them removed, but if its offered by the Surgeon doing the procedure, you should ask for Skin Glue. If possible, you can get it done with a clamp, which produces a bloodless, stichless results that takes fewer days to heal, and produces a better finish overall, but not many places offer clamps for older people because of the size of the penis in older boys, and the frequent erections (it would be tight and uncomfortable, and possibly break the clamp). If you want to get it done, speak to your parents, and have them schedule an appointment with a Urologist. :yeah:

Just to add to the above, I was cut as a teen, because I wanted to be. I was done using the Forceps Guided method, but requested Skin Glue instead of stitches, I can speak for both sides, and think that being cut overall is much better. But that's just my opinion. =]

You can have your frenulum clipped and keep the foreskin and all it's pleasurable sensations and functions. No need to get the full circumcision and you'll never have micro-tears on your fren again, as it will be severed.

Lol stitches caught in boxers, I somehow managed to catch one in my boxers and rip it right out 2 days after the op... i really thought I was goign to die, partially from the pain but it bled a bit, Dr said to see what happened if it would need to be re stitched. Thank god it did not, but I do have a funky little mark there.
Other than that its really not nearly as bad as you think it will be. Its not 1/2 as embarrassing, as you think its just what the doctors do all day.
