View Full Version : cant sleep, cant eat, dont doing very well

so iv never really been a good sleeper or eat much but latly its gotten worse im like not sleeping at all and can only eat a little not because i dont want to but because i cant... this is messing around with my emotions (depression) and making my suicidal thoughts worse... :( is there anything i can do that will help that doesnt envolve going to a doctor or talking to anyone???

For your sleep, if you really refuse to go see someone, I would recommend trying taking melatonin supplements, which is a chemical your body makes on its own--its natural sleep aid--and forms no sort of dependency or anything. Honestly though, I would highly recommend seeing someone if things are getting as bad as you're saying. Even if it's just a counselor at school, they can help you a lot more than anyone else can, even than anyone here can. If it's getting to the point where you can't eat and where your mind is getting in as bad a state as it seems it is, then you need to go see someone. I would definitely encourage you to talk to a counselor about it all, so that they can help you through this. I know it's a hard thing to do, but they really can help. We're always here to help and support you regardless though, and I hope that things begin to get better for you!

thanks noirtier.. i will try that. not keen on talking to anyone, dont think im quite ready for that yet.. im on holidays atm so cant talk to the school counsellor.. i just see if it gets any worse and if so ill suck it up and tell someone
