I'd definitely much rather have a boyfriend. Friends with benefits could be cool for a little while, but eventually it will get complicated and someone will get hurt. I don't believe things like that can truly work out fine. Besides, that is not really the type of person I am. I am a relationship person all the way.

I would rather a girlfriend 99% of the time, just because they would be there for you when you needed someone, and vise versa and you're never really alone in a relationship, and sometimes sex is included in the package, but it's more than sex in a relationship, it's a way of showing love and trust and sappy stuff like that.

Right now I'm at a midpoint. I'm seeing this guy and we both have feelings for eachother, however the situation we're in would prove taxing if we were to enter a full blown relationship. I prefer to keep things casual (I think facebook uses the term open relationship), it gives us freedom and keeps it new and exciting. Worked well for me so far, once we're in a better situation and ready to commit I think we will, but I've always seen it pointless to commit or settle down so young as it's so rare for relationships to last when young.
