I was looking at this EBook which explained a lot and one of the facts may surprise you,
Girls don't look for Looks, Muscles, Money... There is a thing called "Pre-Selection" which is basically if you act as if you get the girls then they will find you attractive as the same behaivour can be explained by Fish...

Female fish mate the Male fish which has the brightest scales because that means he is the healthiest but if there are 2 male fish with about the same brightness of scales then the female fish will guess and ALL the other female fish will pick the same male fish

The moral of it is really the other female fish think "Well there must be a reason she chose him... let's find out" so if you appear to be a stud then other girls will think the same as the female fish.

Hopefully that didn't sound too odd but it is an interesting fact I learnt today.

If you're going to act like you're a charming, ladies man and you get all the ladies, we will not like you. We will think, the hell is this douche who thinks he can wave at me and I'll be over there in a heart beat? Very few girls will rush into your arms if you act like you get em all, and if they do, that shows a character flaw and you can expect a clingy, never leave me, text me every 6 minutes, let's get married and have 50 babies type of girl. Or they'll be striving to prove you cannot get them and they will string you along, playing a game of cat and mouse, and very rarely will they stop their game to actually be with you. They're the man eaters.

Granted, if you look like you never take care of yourself and smell, you will not find many people of any gender to like you. BUT, you can still get a woman's interest. Women who like projects, women who like to take care of other people, they will see you and assume you need them in your life to stay on the proper path and survive. They will come but they will take the role of a second mother.

If you have no skills but the desire to learn, you will attract teacher women. They will take joy in bonding with you and sharing their skills. If you have skills, you will attract those who look for a man to share skills with.

There's a huge variety of women that look for a huge variety of men. So legitimately, there is someone out there for you no matter what type of person you are. So stay as you are until you find a girl you think is worth you changing for.

In short what we look for in guys is that that they are themselves and everything that comes with it.

What i'd look for in a guy (this is my personal preference)

Looks? Tall, Dark haired, longer scruffy hair :P
Physical features? not too bothered
Skills? more personality traits, they have to be kind to everyone, i cant stand a bitchy lad. If they are more interested in their appearance than education i wouldnt be interested.
Talents? i like musical/ creative guys

I know you're asking females but I've talked to girls about this and I get different reactions. Some girls like guys who act like jerks and are douches (was hard for me to get them to admit that lol). While others really care for personality more than looks. I think one thing they both share is that they both like confident guys not insecure guys. Hope this helped.
