How do you get someone?

Well other than the crummy little picture of me under my name, I was gonna post one but just washed my hair so not gonna post XD Anyway on with the question!
How did/do you guys get someone to like you? I am a guy and gay, soon to be 17 and I've been single for almost 5 years now and not done anything with anyone even kissing, And i have a big and caring and loving hurt and being single literally hurts and the longer it goes on the more it hurts and the more it causes depression, So i want to know how to get someone :) I take care of myself more, I dress better, I smile bigger and better, I walk with my head up more, I'm starting to treat my acne (Not got overly much on my face), So yeah doing all this but it is a long process! So how did you guys if your dating find your love? So i could have some tips or just know more about love as i am clueless on the subject!

Honestly, put yourself out there and be yourself. I know it can be tough when you're trying to find someone, especially when it seems like it's just not happening, but you've already begun to improve yourself, you've taken that step and it appears to me that you're dedicated to it all. So, if you're dedicated to it, keep doing what you're doing, and just put yourself out there more. Be yourself, don't act like someone you're not, and you'll be able to find someone who likes you for you, I'm sure of it. If you haven't already, I might recommend joining a local alliance club, but honestly to me it sounds like you're on the right track to finding someone! I wish you the best of luck!

Yeah i am pretty dedicated XD I don't believe in changing yourself as one day you will drop that and they will see you for who your truely are and may not like it as much, My friend is forcing me to a gay club called Colors when we turn 18 so if nothing happens by then, There's that, Thanks again :)

Well depends if you are out. If people know your gay that will make you A LOT more available lol. If you're so dedicated you should do more things in the community or the LGBT community and you will met many more people that way. Also sometimes you need to take the imitative and make the first move instead of waiting for someone to make a move on you. Really hope this helps! Best of luck!
