Well if you really don't want to tell anyone (your mom may ask if you never tell, you know wondering why you haven't told her yet) learn how to use feminine hygiene products such as pads or tampons. Get them from close friends or buy them yourself if you really want to keep it private.

There's no reason to keep it private. Tell your mom. She is there to help. You won't know what you're doing and you need the help so you don't hurt yourself trying to figure it out on your own.

Yeah, you really need to tell your mum. I know exactly what you mean when you say you want to keep it private, but really there's no need. Every girl goes through the same thing, there's nothing at all to be embarrassed about :)
