Last night I had a really weird dream, so I was alone in my house and one of my friends actually a really close one was waiting outside and I told him if he wanted to eat something because I was about to make breakfast and he said sure, so I ate and I don't remember him eating, but anyway we were talking I barely remember what it was about but when he was about leave and he stood at the door and we hugged, what scares me its because this was the most detailed part of the dream and the part I remember the most, so as we were hugging I give him a kiss on the cheek but not like an actual one, then he gave me one back, and said I love you and we kissed on the lips and he left. At that point I woke up and idk, I mean we are good friends but I would never think of him in anything other than that, or any of my guy friends, was it just a dream or is my mind trying to mess with me, this was really confusing :what: , any thoughts?

Well be honest and say do you have feelings for him ( before the dream ) this could be a contributing factor. If not then was he on your mind that day? Was he at your house, were you out with him? If he was fresh on your mind before you went to bed he will be in your dreams. This could be a mix of a sex dream and your friend just ended up in it. I'm not sure but I had one with Ashton Kutcher in it recently enough and I was just watching a tv show with him in it, Its most likely just him being on your mind. Unless you like which which changes the matter and could be a sign that you want too kiss him

We did spend the whole afternoon together, but still, we usually see each other on a daily basis at school, we eat lunch with the same friends, we are in the same sports team, but yeah I did get home late and I was tired maybe it was just a mix of that, idk the things that worries me is that I kinda liked it.

AWWWW MY GOD THIS IS SO CUTE! Sorry but it is adorable! Okay it is just a dream, I have had a lot of dreams about my friends who are girls but i am gay so it will most likely mean nothing :) Some people like me can see into the future with their dreams though so there is always that possibility but if you feel nothing it was most likely just a dream don't worry :)

Honestly, I wouldn't think anything of the dream if I were you. Dreams are your subconscious combining various elements of your memory together to form an image or experience. Sleep is a time when your mind goes over all the memories of the day, and some pretty weird shit happens in dreams because of that. Your mind will put together all those memories into all sorts of visual and auditory perceptions. That's why dreams are just that--they're dreams, and a lot of the time, they don't mean anything. If you don't like your friend in that way, then the dream was just a dream, and I wouldn't worry about it any more past that.

Lol, I know it was just a dream, and I did tell myself that, but I've been thinking through it through the whole day, and like it does sound kinda a cute and I wouldn't mind in fact I would like it if something like that happened, but like wouldn't that mean that I'm bi. I've always been sure that I was straight it's kinda awkward I thought changes like this happened earlier on like in your early teens.

I think more than anything it is a sign you have been spending a lot of time together. He was on your mind, maybe along with someone else who you do like and want to hug and kiss, and the images all got combined in one mash-up dream.

Dreams, according to my Psych teacher, are simply our brain trying to make sense of random nerve firings in our brain during sleep. Think what you want about it, the dream only carries a meaning if you put one on it.

I suspect it means you like the guy a lot and your unconscious mind didn't care about the implications of breaking a taboo and showing it with a kiss.
If you now feel you wouldn't mind it in real life, then it depends if you want to go further than a kiss, and that would just be natural curiosity at this point.
If you think you'd enjoy sex with him then yes, you might have just worked out something new about yourself, and that always takes a while to get your head around. At some point it will all click together in your head. This summer I discovered that I liked my boyfriend taking charge, and that messed with my head because I'm the older one and thought I had to be in control. I was just last night reading the post I made about it back in September, and it seems amazing to me that it bothered me so much back then, because now I am totally fine with it and love being able to be myself with him. These things can just take a while for you to process I think.

It's just a dream. It probably just means your close to him or you understand him. I'm sure it wasn't a sign or anything like that.

I have dreams about waking up in worlds of magical swirls and then my friends and i all start dancing??? That is not something i want to happen that much. So no I don't think that you have unknown sexual feelings for your friend.
According to science dreams are cause by your subconscious strengthening certain memories. Now I am not saying that you kissed your friend but somehow your mind decided to strengthen those memories by tying then together.

You may have feelings for your friend that is maybe why your dream went how it did :) and there is nothing to be ashamed of by your dream :)

It's a dream but do you really have any feelings for him? That's for you to decide.
