I pushed the "Erase All Content and Settings" on my iPod, am I now safe to sell?

Also, I used this video right here (http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=rm2D7-PCTaw&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3Drm2D7-PCTaw) and when I did the instructions. My iPod still came up to the connect to iTunes screen. So does that mean its safe to sell?

Alright so I plugged the iPod into iTunes and it says they've detected an iPod before it can be used it must be restored. So I clicked it and another thing said "Restore and Update" will this make it ready for sale?
