i get plenty of sleep but even so every single day i can barely keep my eyes open about half way thru the day. I almost fall asleep in 5th period and then as soon as i get home i fall asleep at the computer most of the time. I have to drink 5 hour energy drinks 3 or 4 times a day and i'm living on Red Bull and still i feel tired all the time. i just had my yearly physical last august and he didn't find anything wrong with me then altho to be honest I didn't mention being tired all the time.
should i just keep passing out as soon as i get home for a couple hours or keep drinking energy drinks or tell my mom to take me back to the dr or what? has anyone else had this happen? how did you fix it?

This has happened to me too.
I think you're just lacking energy.
Sometimes getting too much sleep can actually make you even more tired, also, if you're not very active, that can cause you to feel very lazy and tired all the time.
I recommend you get a good amount of sleep every night, but make sure you don't get too much sleep ( like 10+ hours ).
Also, try to eat healthy food and be active.
Take some vitamins too, as energy drinks aren't really that healthy for your body.
Doing all of this ^ should help you gain energy, and keep you from constantly being tired. :)

Yes, I would follow Bo's advice to manage the fatigue. But also keep in mind that at this stage of our lives a lot of energy is being used for the rapid growing and development process. This can lead to tiredness. Furthermore, it could also be the onset of some illness such as glandular fever -especially if you have been experiencing flu-like symptoms recently. In this case I would see the doctor to be on the safe side.

If this is a constant, longterm daily occurrence, I would definitely ask a doctor about it. Fatigue like this is a sign of a lot of serious illnesses, but that's not why I think this is happening. It appears to me that you may have a sleep disorder of some sort--that your body, even though you say you get plenty of sleep a night, isn't getting the type of sleep it needs. In order to feel rested and, well, not sleepy, your body needs a certain amount of REM sleep each night, and it seems that for whatever reason you're not getting this. A doctor would know what to do, and run any tests if they think they need to. Yes, you do need plenty of rest during this time of your life, but if you're daily having to drink energy drinks just to make it through the day, while still getting plenty of sleep at night, and it's interfering with your life like this, it's not normal. Please, talk to a doctor about this, and hopefully they'll be able to figure out the trouble.

I would definitely cut down on the energy drinks. Tbh, I'd say get rid of them altogether. Once you consume them in the quantities, your body will start adjusting itself to depend on it to stay awake, just like you would to medicine, drugs & alcohol.
Sometimes you just need to chill out and take in some deep breaths, when you get busy & tired during the day you start to take in less and less oxygen, which do tire you out. Cardio exercise is a great way to do this, and I must say I felt more alert and alive in the days when I was in a much stricter training routine.
Other than that, keep hydrated, eat fruits & vegetables. You might want to look at a multivitamin of some sort too.
It's not about how much sleep you get, but the quality of sleep you get. When your body wakes up naturally, it's time to get up. Sometimes forcing yourself to sleep another 20 minutes can totally wreck my day. I've also found that having air circulate during the night, such as a fan or open window helps a lot. At night time, your body releases a special endorphin to get you tired so you will sleep and let your body repair itself. At this point in your life through rapid growth and development, you need to listen to your body to tell you when to sleep so your body can grow and repair itself during it's "peak" times.
