That's only if one of the two have STDs. If both are clean then you can't get it.

Yes it is true.

But it's possible at least one of the partners may unknowingly have an STD.

But there's a question I've been wondering for a long time...

Where do STD's come from? :?

STDs are usually passed on from one partner to another through sex.

So how did it all begin? How did the first ever person who got an STD get it?

That's what I'm wondering, really.

From viruses, bacteria, etc. Just like any other disease/sickness like the flu.

It depends on what you consider 'safe'. Can she get pregnant? No. Can you get an STD (mainly herpes)? Yes. That's because the herpes virus lives in the mouth of infected people and is readily transmitted in saliva. The risk is greater if she is engaging in this kind of behavior with other guys, the risk obviously multiplying with the number of guys she's done this with. Some studies indicate that almost 1:5 people over 18 have it. With all the attention given to AIDS, unfortunately herpes doesn't get much press. But as the numbers indicate, it's at epidemic proportions. And although you cannot die from it, it is incurable, and when active, leaves ulcers on your penis. Not nice.

It's always important to know who it is (and how active they've been) before taking Mr. Blinky out for a spin with someone other than your own hand.

If one of your parents had an STD and you were born with it, it would have been realized by a doctor a long time ago when you were a baby.

It's still possible for one to catch an STD from a previous partner and the person not know they got it. That is why before doing any kind of sex both partners should get tested.

It all depends, but it's as safe as you can get.
