So I just got new glasses. My right eye is perfectly fine, so they didn't need strong lense for the right eye. But my left eye needed strong lenses. Will my left eye get used of my new stronger lenses? I've never worn glasses before btw. Is it normal for it to be kinda hard to see through the lense? I kinda have to concentrate a little harder on my left eye (the eye that has horrible vision, and the eye with the super strong prescription lense). Is this all normal?

When I was little and wore glasses, I had this problem. Eventually it went away. That was for me though. If it doesn't go away after a few days then I would talk to a parent or something.

Yes it's perfectly normal. Every time I get a stronger prescription it takes a while longer for my eyes to get used to being able to actually see clearly. After a few days/weeks it'll be like they're not even there. You get used to them eventually.

Yep, Mattie is right.
When I wore glasses, I had this problem too.
You'll get used to the glasses soon. :)

Yep, its normal, I had that problem too when I first got a new prescription. The floor looked like it was hilly. I got headaches because my corrected vision was much stronger than the origional vision. I asked my eye doctor if this was supposed to happen and she said yes. 2 years later I got a new prescription and the same happened again. My new optomitrist said this was normal. If it doesnt correct itself, then usually the optomatrist would be happy to re-evaluate your eyes, you may need a different brand of lens. Different brands dont work the same. I've been through the trial and error process figuring out which brand fits my crappy eyesight! Usually the more expensive ones do. A good optomitrist would give you the best lens for your eye. He is very smart, he drives a freakin Maserati. And he deserves every bit of his paycheck. So why tax a smarter person more?

Like people here have said it is normal for you to feel some discomfort and be hard to see through new glasses. Usually it takes an adjustment period, this can be anything from a day to a few days. If it was going on for quite sometimes. I.E over a week, I might consider going back and explaining your discomfort to the people and then they might be able to sort the problem out.
But yes, an adjustment period is usually needed. For example, when I get new glasses I usually take 24-48 hours to feel normal in them.

It will go away when you get used to them. My problem is akin to yours. Eventually you will adjust.

It can take a few days of weeks to get fully used to them. It should get easier as time goes by, until you eventually stop noticing them. If they are very strong glasses, it might take a bit longer.
