im short for my age, what can I do to make sure I grow to my fullest potential?

last school year I was extremely sleep deprived, I was about 14, and i felt that that might've made a major impact on my height.

this year i've made many changes to try to improve that, and hopefully i can still grow.

what else can i do?

eat healthily!
Calcium is important, and sleep is also! You body preforms most of its restoring and growth processes when you sleep

Eat healthy, eat lots of protein, sleep 8+ hours a night, and exercise. Living a healthy lifestyle is the best way to ensure you grow to your full potential. Also, avoid smoking or drinking, they stunt development.

Lots of sleep!! Eat your veggies, and if you lifted weight at an early age that has proved to stunt growth. I'm 14 and I'm about 5'9" maybe 5'10". AND TAKE A MULTI-VITAMIN it can help with growth and over all great for your well being.

I'm not sure if you can do much. Everyone's genes determine the height. I'm 14 and 6'7 already. I hope I won't grow any more!

Eat nutricious foods like broccoli and carrots. You also need sleep. The human body grows faster when it's resting. (sleeping)

Height is a pre determined genetically. There is nothing you can do to make yourself grow. There are several things that can slow down the rate of growth, smoking, drugs etc. Stay away from the bad stuff.

Your adult height is totally out of your control; it's inherited. Just always eat vegies, fresh fruit & some meat, & don't spend all your spare time in front of a screen, or behind a book. Sleep deprivation can't affect your height.

Is it possible to change your height? I mean certain things, like diet and environment (third world environment?) may determine height, but I thought that in normal cases, it is what it is. Being 14 you may grow anyway. I'm only 5'2" and 97 lbs, I hope to grow beyond that by the time I'm 18. Good luck.

i'm looking to grow to my fullest potential
and I think sleep does play a major role in your height, as many others have said.

im not really sure if you can do much about it. certainly eat healthily and if you are still concerned maybe go and see your doctor for a checkup. he/she should easily be able to suggest something :)
