So I've got this pain on the left side of my mouth on the top half
I had a tooth filled on the top row back in August and one on the other side
So anyways whenever I bite down into sugar or certain things I get this sharp cramping pain. I know this is gross but my mouth hygiene isn't all that great and I forget to brush alot. I drink alot of sugars and forget to brush
Could I have a cavity or something more serious?
I'm not worried about the cost as I have drug and dental benefits
I'm just scared because I don't like needles at all and well I don't like having my mouth frozen.
What do I do? I'm embarrassed to call them after only just being there a few months ago.

You'll have to contact your dentist.

I used get this sometimes to, but I do look after my teeth, however I hate the dentist due to personal experiences when I was younger, I think to conquer your fear, there is not much that you can really do, other than to 'over power' your mind, it took me years to do, but now I am fine with it. After you do it once, the next time will be pretty easy, well it was for me :)

Its likely that you have a cavity or something a little more serious. The only way to truly tell would be visit your dentist. If its bothering you then I am sure you can make an emergency appointment which will be faster than just scheduling a normal appointment. its that bad.
