There should be no reason why a doctor would ask you anything about that. Usually, the most they do is check for a hernia down there, which takes maybe 20 seconds. Sure, they'll be looking for signs of puberty, but they will also likely realize there's a good chance that you shave. If they ask, just be straight with them, it's not awkward unless you make it awkward. Whoever your doctor is will (well, should), act like a professional, so there should be no reason to be uncomfortable.

Doctors are aware (as they deal with countless patients) that everyone like their pubic hair differently so I don't really think he would say anything unless it was related to medical reasons...in which I can't think of anything really.
So bottom line, I don't think he should say anything.

well my doctor definitely noticed and said something when my pubic hair started growing in so if it was all gone now i'm sure he would say something. just tell him you shaved it off. and hope your mom or dad doesn't have to go in with you.
personally, i dont get shaving pubic hair.

I've gotten some weird looks from the Doctors I've seen but, none of them have said anything to me about it.

I trimmed short before my sports physical and I was wondering if my doc would say anything but he didn't. My brother had his at the same time and he shaves completely and the doc didn't say anything to him either. I think its common enough that they have seen trimmed and shaved teenage guys before.
