Its because during puberty your hormones are in-balanced and havent settled yet. as you mature during puberty these mood swings should become less regular

Ok thanks. Is there any way to control them? Or at least just try not to explode at random people for no reason?

Theres a slight chance but most likely he is going through puberty and if you ever watch a sexual education video mood swings are part of the hormonal imbalance during puberty and settle.

You know that but you suggest it? Hmmm....
Mood swings happen in puberty, it's normal and caused by hormones. As for being tired, what is your diet like? Are you eating healthily? Exercising? Poor diet and exercise can give you lack of energy.

Relax, it's doubtful you're bi polar (unless either of your parents are, or a very close relative, as this runs in families).
Mood swings are somewhat prevalent in adolescence, all those hormones (what else?). But, really, you don't become a monster because of puberty, what you hear is really exaggerated. If you're tired, I'd suspect that's the cause of your mood swings. Exhaustion will really cause those moods to change, you're likely to be more irritable and have less tolerance.
Get more sleep, go to bed earlier, make the necessary changes in your lifestyle to get your body the rest it needs.

Well i was gonna say possibly bi-polar, even though probably not... but the hormone thing sounds like a high possibility

Hi VTers,

Sleep. You need sleep. If you dont get enough sleep with a good diet with excercise, you will be tired. Eat 3 meals a day, with snacks, healthy foods. Run during the day and get outside. And sleep anywhere from 8-10 hours.

Hormones. Hormones hormones hormones.
Or possibly bipolar disorder.
But probably hormones if you don't really have any reason for it.
But bipolar disorder doesn't always have reasons.
But I still think it is hormones.
