I've always been the guy to give relationship or sex advice to my friends, and it's been pretty rare for me to be in this kind of situation. I've been sexually active for a couple of years, mostly in solid relationships, but I've fooled around a little bit while I was single. I'm currently in a dry spell that's lasted for about 6 months, and it's been rough! I've been single and without a sexual outlet for the whole time. I have a high sex drive, and of course I've masturbated, but I'm really going nuts from lack of sex! The main issue I have is getting back into dating. I'm very good at being a boyfriend, but not at the flirting to dating part. It's a very awkward transition for me. I want someone to love, not just have sex with. Although that is important too! Is there anyone who has gone through this, maybe some advice.... a shoulder to cry on, perhaps? I know I'm not the only guy who's gone through this. Ladies, I'd like your help, too! I'd really like a girl's perspective on this kind of thing. Any advice would be appreciated.
