There's an ignore user option here (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/profile.php?do=ignorelist), but I don't know the specifics of what it blocks.

Yup Masked is right use the Ignore option.

Basically what it will do is when the blocked user posts it won't show you their post but it will come up with a box that says something along the lines of "do you want to read this post", you have to click if you want to read it or just scroll past and ignore it. Not the best explanation but you get the picture.

Yeah, I think when you block a user, they can't VM or PM you, at least i'm pretty sure.
They may be able to still view your profile though, i'm not positive however, as i've never blocked anybody.

I'm almost positive they can't contact you though.

Also, if a user is pissing you off, or fucking with you, let a mod or admin know.
They'll put a stop to that shit. :)

But yeah, to answer your question, I don't think someone on your ignore list can contact you.

Users on your ignore list can see blocks on your profile for which you have selected "Everyone" in Profile Privacy (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/profile.php?do=privacy). Ex. If you have chosen "Everyone" for your Contact List, users you've blocked can see you.
