My boyfriend says he has problems with love.

He says he really likes me, but he doesn't show it. When I talked to him about it it kind of escalated into an argument. I tell him all the time and show him how much I care about him, and I was hoping it was making him feel good like it should in a normal relationship. He now tells me he doesn't like talking about love, that it makes him feel awkward and uncomfortable and he'll never be able to change that.
He tells me he likes me but he never shows it. He has had plenty of chances to break up with me but hasn't.
I want to know if I should just stop telling him that I like him, that I want to make him happy etc.? He's everything i've been looking for but I just want to know if im wasting my time.

As long you are both happy in this relationship, don't worry. If he wasn't happy, he would have most probably broken up with you long ago.

But since he is uncomfortable about expressing love etc. then maybe calm down in that department. It might make you seem too clingy or something along those lines. Hope it all goes well :)

If you weren't happy, then that was the right thing to do. In all honesty, when you said "He says he likes me but he never shows it..." it didn't seem like the healthiest relationship. If you're dating someone and they won't even show you that they love you, or even like you, well, it's only a matter of time until the relationship fails. Relationships are built on respect and trust, and he should have respected you enough and trusted you enough to be able to show you that he liked you or loved you. Even if it was hard, you did the right thing, what was best for you and for him too. I wish you the best of luck now, and if you ever need to talk we're all here to help and support you!
