What are the "signs" or thing that would actually say, it is abuse?

I googled the definitions of the phrases, and the following came up:
Physical abuse is abuse involving contact intended to cause feelings of intimidation, pain, injury, or other physical suffering or bodily harm.
Psychological abuse, also referred to as emotional abuse or mental abuse, is a form of abuse characterized by a person subjecting or exposing another to behavior that is psychologically harmful. Such abuse is often associated with situations of power imbalance, such as abusive relationships, bullying, child abuse and in the workplace.
Now, with that in mind, let me say what I think of abuse as. In my mind, abuse would be anything by which another person intentionally causes you harm--whether that be emotional or physical--in a detrimental manner (i.e. if you get yelled at because you did something you weren't supposed to by your parents, that's not really abuse.) Many times, abuse is done so that the abuser can gain something, whether that be a better feeling of self worth, or something tangible, such as may be the case in sexual abuse. Now, I don't know why you ask this, but keep in mind: Regardless, abuse is a very serious matter, and if you think you may be being abused in some manner, I would strongly encourage you for your own good to tell an adult who you trust and who can help you through it. And we're always here to support you too if anything happens hun.

I think that no matter what the attacker is thinking or meaning, if it causes upset or trauma, it is abuse. A bully might not mean offence, but if you're being teased everyday, and it makes you feel bad, even if you don't show it, I call that emotional abuse.

Emotional abuse is deliberately exposing a person to insults and damaging their self-esteem.
Physical abuse is using force and causing physical pain to the victim. It usually causes physical injury
