so this is really really embarassing, but i think i might have a bladder problem.
don't make fun of me, but i've realized that after just one day of wearing panties, they smell really bad and its always sort of moist... i have started to wear pads all the time because it stops me from smelling bad during the day when i'm out in public. i'm too embarassed about it to tell anyone about it, and it has been going on for a really long time. do I have a bladder problem or somethingg? what should i do?

How old are you? I think you'd know if it was a bladder problem. My guess is maybe it's an infection? We all get wet down there, but yeast infections cause it to be more moist and makes it smell worse. Maybe this is the problem. You should talk to your mom so she can take you to a doctor.

It sounds like you may either have a weak bladder or a problem with controlling it. This isn't totally uncommon; but you don't typically see it in younger teens. as workingatperfect said, I too think that you should speak to a parent/guardian about what's going on so that you can see a doctor about it. If you're too embarrassed to talk about it with a parent then you could always try to say that it's an embarrassing personal matter; but keep in mind that they really won't ridicule you for it.

okay maybe I'm dumb and I sure don't know anything about girls and lady bits and such, but you said that after just one day of wearing your panties they smell bad. How many days in a row do you wear them? did i read that wrong? do you not change them every day for a fresh/clean pair? cuz if that's what it is, damn girl, change your drawers every day and so some laundry. but if I read that wrong and it's like halfway thru the day that it happens then like i said, I got no clue about girls and lady bits and such so I'd ask your mom. it might be embarassing but not as embarassing as being out somewhere and someone commenting on the smell or something.

i think its more like a weak bladder or something. but i dont feel like i have a weak bladder, its like it just happens without me noticing until i smell it or change clothes.

What I think you should do is look up your syntoms on like webmd and get a general ballpark guess of what it may be, seeing that you had this for years maybe it might be a bladder problem, check where the discharge is coming out of, is it itchy there? Also maybe try one day putting baby powder there and see what happens as the moisture should lessen a bit, anyway the fact that you had this for years I guess you can wait until you get your next checkup unless there increasing pain or anything diffrent occurs there

I think that may be bladder weakness then, now that you say that. When you aren't making a conscious effort to hold your bladder and the muscles are doing it on their own they are too weak to hold it for longer periods of time.

What sort of clothes do you wear? Wearing clothes that don't let a lot of air about are going to cause that sort of thing. You sweat just like any other part of your body but on top of that you have discharge. Combining the two is going to cause those sort of problems. I don't think there's anything wrong with you. Unless it smells of piss rather than just bad, i'd say a bladder problem is an extremely unlikely cause.
