I've heard about this too...I think its something like when the cum passes through ur prostate it lubricates it and reduces the changes of it swelling causing cancer?

Here's some info:

Basically it's been discovered by research and shouldn't be taken as absolute fact. It's not scientifically proven, it's just been theorized through research. At the end of the day it's just a theory so take it with a pinch of salt.

thats a good point ant. if you believed every study ever done then basically anything you do or eat will give you an increased risk of some sort of cancer.

Exactly, and it's common for these "studies" to contradict each other. Like a study says eating this once a day is good then a few years later another study comes out saying that excess of that same food is bad. These will go in circles and you're better off just paying them no mind.

It explains it in the link I provided on what the study is claiming..

I looked at that page, it seems like some real research has been done, so i think that it might actually be true,

Don't take it seriously. Every year they come up with some fancy research which looks sound and claim that doing this or eating this will protect from this that and the other disease/illness. Every year they discredit ones from before. None of them are to be trusted.

Look at the first sentence dogman

Men could reduce their risk of developing prostate cancer through regular masturbation, researchers suggest.

Could: express possibility

Suggest: to mention or introduce (an idea, proposition, plan, etc.) for consideration

Notice how it's not definite. They don't say it's a fact, they basically say they think this might reduce the risk.Don't give into fancy words and be fooled by what they are saying.

meh, really it minimally reduces your chance, by not masturbating your not in anymore risk then the next guy to develop prostate cancer later in life.

also too much actual jacking off (meaning like 5+ times a day, everyday, ect.) does cause brain damage, and a variety of other nasty things.

you need to balance your habits and keep it from becoming over-excessive

Personally, I believe the study. Ejaculation flushes out ld prostate fluid, which turns yellow after a while. Constant ejaculation prevents a build-up of that old fluid, and supposedly reduces cancer of the prostate.
