Do you shower at school, and if so do you do it naked? I recently changed schools and I stripped down to shower after soccer and everyone looked at me like I was crazy. I kinda thought that people showered together at all schools.

After PE and after practice always shower nude....we all do...no one seems to worry about it ....i'm gay and OUT and never had a problem with other guys ....they know that I'm not a predator and are very relaxed with me (and may I say other gay guys that are on the teams or at school)....no one has ever been approached that I know of....with the teams I think it is more normal to shower after practice at our school than in PE but a lot of us do

At my school almost all the guys shower after PE, I would hate to have to walk around sweaty and smelly all day. Everyone on my soccer and baseball teams shower after practice. And we all shower naked. No one cares. Theres usually some joking around, maybe some towel snapping. I think the only way someone would be teased would be if they showered in their boxers that would be wierd.

sounds like my school most of the girls rarely strip down completely and shower it's not like we work up a sweat duing PE but I perfer to shower and yes i get some looks as well since i don't wear panties under my school clothes. Do what feel right to you and don't worry about what others think

At my school you can shower if you want to, I usualy showe after two houres of PE, i shiver naked and a fev of my school mates also shower but everyove that shovers showers naked I gues it would be strange to go take a shower in your undervear. Well yeah most schools shower naked together. As long as your the same gender as the people in the showers with you, its O.K. I mean some schools are more open to being in a shower naked. Some of the guys piss on each other!!

Totally hear you Christine, after class your doing whats totally normal for you, by stripping and showering and realizing that everyone else is like OMG she's naked!! At my school after PE class we shower, and they're communal showers so not individual stalls to shower in, and nearly everyone strips butt naked, a few guys in my class keep there gym shorts on when showering but no-one cares. Even if they're the odd ones out. But for all the guys in my class it's a totally normal thing after PE class to strip and shower. And of course we all laugh, joke about and stuff. But I've been to a friends school and used the locker room, asked him what's with the individual showers? His mouth hit the floor when i said we had communal at my school and it looked like he was going to faint when i said we all get naked. So i guess the girls at your new school aren't used to nudity in the locker room. I mean you can't be the only person in your gym class who showers nude? Like someone else musta got into the showers also?
But at the end of the day if your comfortable, then it ain't an issue.

Dont know about America but this is hardly done in the UK high schools not sure about adults or university. If one was to strip down naked you will probably get stared at or laughed at. But at public gyms people seem to be more open

It's not compulsory for us to shower after Phys Ed but most do unless it's the last period of the day. We all shower naked since it's an all boys school and it's not really a big deal.
