I really want to get this girl, advice please?

So there is this girl that I started talking to on facebook, she goes to an all girls school, I go to an all guy's school. Well I really like her and I want to go out with her. Ive never met her in person before, and I need a simple plan of action on how to get to that point. My primary goal is asking her to my school's semi formal dance which is the first week of march, and I would probably ask her mid to early January.

If the only way you are in contact is on Facebook, you're going to have some trouble.
Is that the only medium for communication you have? Have you ever even *seen* her in person?

I wouldn't go to a dance first, but that's just me.
It may be awkward if it's the first time you see her, but it's your choice. I'd go to a movie or something less ... serious--just until you know each other better.

Obviously i want to meet her before I ask her to that dance, I just dont want it to be in a way where I could mess things up, like a date. Would going on a "date" as friends be a possibility, I would think that kinda takes the romantic pressure off

I already got her number and we are ooVoo contacts, ive never done ooVoo with her and I texted her once, but facebook is the primary method of communication

If she turns you down, just don't give up. Wait a week or two and try again.
