My mom walked in on me once when i was 14(i forgot to lock my door).....it was pretty embarrassing at the time but my mom was actually pretty cool about it, i think she was at least as embarrassed as i was. The best thing to do is probably talk it out with your mom.

Thanks everybody. I don't feel so alone in this now. I do want to say though that I was being pretty careful. A lot of people are like "be more careful" and I was. I was home alone. They were supposed to be gone for a lot longer. It's not the first time I've been caught, but the first by family. I was finishing too. Awkward. Yeah, it was super embarrassing. You have no idea. Talking it thru helped a little, but I still feel like I can't really look at either of them. I think all they'll think I is me, like that.

ive caught people and been caught by people, but never my parents, in both circumstances i was a little embarrassed but they said talk to me about it or if friends or sis, let me know i might join you next time! soo you get over it by the second or third time. hope this helps!

Yeah, I just can't imagine it being less awkward/embarassing. I've been caught twice, and both times they were incredibly awkward, especially this time when it involved family.

ive never been caught but as other say its natural and we all do it! i think its part of you getting comfortable with yourself and your sexuality

If your mother is not stupid (and I bet she isn't) she knows that masturbation is absolutely normal. She probably has masturbated a lot when she was younger so I think she knows how you feel now and she will not bother you.
On your side you can just try to be a bit more careful the next time in order to not get caught again!! ;)
