I have a problem.
I liked this guy for a long time, he is my best friend but he's not bisexual or pansexual or gay so I need advice to how to get over him..

The first thing you need to do is recognize, and admit to yourself, that nothing--and I mean NOTHING--is going to happen between you two that will ever allow you two to be together. And you need to accept that fact. Once you've realized that, the next step might be distancing yourself from him a little bit for a while. Focus on other friends a little, talk to other people. He can still be your best friend, but that doesn't mean you have to stick to him like glue. Anytime that you have those feelings, try what you can to just block them out because you know they can't come to fruition. I might even try writing about it and how you feel, or even distracting yourself a bit by reading or drawing or watching TV or something--don't give yourself a bunch of idle time to sit and think about the whole situation. And eventually, it'll just kind of... happen. Believe me, it'll take time, it always takes time, and you need to be patient with it. But, it'll happen nonetheless.

Admit that he is off the market so you need to get your head off of him. Try talking to friends that always helps (but not him or anyone he's close with).
Music helps a lot of people but try to only listen to like happy music so you don't do anything stupid.

This is going to sound shallow and slutty, but I had a similar straight crush issue when I was in 8th grade, and I found that getting a rebound boy was a good thing. Just find somebody else to obssess over.
