i'm 13 and I'm okay with lesbian/gay/straight people. uh...I'm just wondering what age you know...
so how old were you when you knew? Or how old do people usually know? I've always thought I was straight, but I'm just not sure.

I knew I was officially straight when i was in 5th grade, and I was obsessed with this one girl.
Over time, the girls have come and go, but the obsession never left! :)

idk how your supposed to "know". it seems every single thread on here that starts out "I do gay stuff or have gay thoughts. am i gay?" the answer is always "no it's just hormones" or "no it's just a phase". i've been wishing for 3 years that it was just hormones or a phase but my feelings haven't changed no matter how hard I try.

I was always attracted to girls but I didn't realize that it was more than just thinking some are hot until I was about 15 and a half, and I didn't realize that I wasn't straight until a couple months before my 16th birthday.

Thinking about it I knew I liked boys when I was about 10-11 I didn't know that meant I was gay though. When I sort of noticed I was different I was about 14-15 that was when a girl asked me out and I said no even though she was attractive to other guys, then at 16 was when I could guarantee I was gay that's when I met my current boyfriend and pretty much fell in love with him right away.
In your case at 13 there's a lot going on with your body loads of hormones flying around, while hormones won't change your sexuality they can lower your inhibitions and make you want to try new things that you otherwise wouldn't try. When your hormones settle down you should get a better idea of your sexuality in the mean time don't worry about it and just do what feels right.

At the beginning I wasn't really sure about that.Im the 5th grade I liked a girl and now I like a girl and a boy. So,I think I found out now(13 years and 7 months) that I am bisexual

I knew by the time I turned 12 that I was bi, just had to accept it, live with it, and deal with it. Now I'm in stage 2 of my sexuality, telling people...

I fount out when i was 12-13 as is the normal age, And people knew before i knew really XD Also it's easy to tell how you know, I am a guy so for me i got grossed out by girl parts and loved guys but have issues with them (Not too common) So for you as i have a friend who is a lesbian she says she felt nothing for guys and just appreciated girls more so yeah, If you notice that, Then you will know, You should know soon :) Normally if it is later it is just a faze don't let other people tell you otherwise okay!

I was 11. In 2008, I liked a guy that used to go to my school, a lot. I liked some girls then even. I knew I was bi when he came and swept me off my feet.

I don't think there's an age, when you will get to "know". It just happens. I have been straight and never thought of anything else.

NO try.
Only DO.
Just messin' with ya.
It may fade for ya. I was freaked out for a few years by it too. I'm 17 and a half but when I was 15 until 16 and a half, I was afraid I was gay. But almost all of that went away a while ago.
So it might change for you too.
I was really freaked out.
Didn't wanna be gay, but having thoughts.
Didn't wanna be gay, but dreamt I was kissing a dude.
Didn't wanna be gay, but had a wet dream that a buddy was blowin' me.
Didn't wanna be gay, but get aroused if a dude was pressed up against me in the back seat of a crowded car.
Didn't wanna be gay, but would sometimes start to get hard goofing around in a pool, or wrestling or some other horsing around.
During that same period of time:
I wasn't interested in gay porn like some guys here and liked hetero porn.
I was attracted to girls in school.
Liked boobs.
Would get hard while making out with a girl or if she was sitting on my lap in a car or if we were squished together in crowded car.
So I had a lot of stuff going on and it really bugged me. Mixed signals. Whole thing made me a little bit sad for short periods of time.
Then those thoughts, dreams etc just started to not happen.
So I kinda know what your going through, but for me there was this mix of both girls and boys. If you aren't having the girl portion of attraction, it may not be a phase, but it isn't the end of the world if it's just guys either because it could change.
Because mine went away by the time I was 16 and a half, maybe that's an age you can be on the look out for and see what your more attracted to when you get to that age.
As we get to the end of puberty, I think our sexuality becomes more rigid, but maybe still flexible for lack of a better term.
Hope this helped.

I"ve had girls as friends but was never interested in them sexually. So, I guess I kinda always knew. I came out to friends and at school when I was 13

I do love both genders. I noticed to be attracted to guys at 10; to girls at 11... Double chance to score; and higher fun. I sm definitely bi!

At a very young age, around yours. Maybe 12 or 11. I couldn't stop admiring this guy whenever we had gym at school and since then I've developed an attraction towards guys, but girls still remain to my taste.

I always thought I was bi, since I was like 8, but recently I've discovered that I can like anyone, so I decided to identify with pansexuality, although I usually stick to boys.

I thought I was straight my whole life up until about a year ago. that may seem not that long ago but I feel as if more has happened in my life in the past year then the rest of my life. So I feel like I've known I'm gay for a really long time. For a while I was attracted to guys but I just didn't think about it because I didn't want to. Anyway I learned I was gay. Wish I knew earlier and wish everybody already knew so I don't have to come out.

I am the same way.
It was something that I always kind of noticed, and until I was about 13/14 I started to realize what it meant. I got kind of freaked out by it and tried to make myself like girls for a few years; but that never really works. I started to accept it a bit more when I was 15/16 and then when I was 16/17 I really came to terms with it.

I remember watching a movie, when I was about 9, and it turned out to have a lesbian relation in it ( the main character fell in love with another character and they slept together ). It was the first time I had seen a same-sex relationship, and I thought it was pretty awesome because it was against the "rules". I liked the idea, so I wanted to be like them too, even if I never had fallen in love with anyone, ever. Later in life (13 years old) I had my first girl crush, so I asked myself if I was a lesbian. The answer was no because I still would find boys highly attractive too. So that how I speculated I might be bi.
Now, I'm fully aware of it, and I'm proud ^^
