There isn't any rush to do anything sexual, just because others are doing it doesn't mean you have to. I'm not saying you shouldn't, but it's probably best to wait until you're actually with someone or have a friend with benefits. As for techniques for orgasms, everyone is different so what gets some people off, won't necessarily get you off.
