I was sad
When I heard the news
I was mad
To know what so many people had to lose
To know that someone had to choose

I know that there is evil
I know that there is hate
But why would someone
Want to take

I have felt pain
I have felt sorrow
I have felt loss
But not like the victims

When I heard the news I started to cry
All I thought was why
Why would someone kill?
Take from children?
Take from parents?
Take from friends?


God bless the victims, their family, the teachers
