Brother's account

So my brother made an account last night and he activated it via the E-Mail. However he cannot post on the forums. It is giving him a message that says something along the lines of an administrator must activate your account before you can post. Can and admistrator or mod please activate it or tell me what's going on? His UN is Gribaltar

The message he is receiving is because of just that--an administrator (either ImCoolBeans or Scarface) must activate his account before he can post. In the past we had been having some problems with some of the new accounts, such as garnering, for whatever reason, a hefty number of spambots, so that's one of the reasons I'm assuming we switched back to an admin having to activate the account. His account should be activated fairly soon, one of the admins logs in usually every day.

They started to moderate it more just after the shoutbox was spammed.

This is correct.

However, if Ronnie and I are both not around then the new accounts will not be approved until one of us is. It's not a perfect solution to the issue but a measure had to be taken and this one does the job.
