So, i have a "hotmail.co.uk" email account with a high spam filter turned on, but i still get 100's of spam emails each day coming into my inbox. Has anyone got any ideas/software to stop this please! its becoming a major pain! Thanks.

idk if there is actual software but basically whatever messages u get check them all as spam because majority of the spam you probably recieve is repetitive
hotmail has become one of the most untrusted servers for email
i may suggest google it seems more trustworthy and spam messages are automatically moved to your spam folder atleast thats my experience.
give that a try

Have you tried sending the spam mail to "Junk"? I also get tons of spam but 99% of them go to Junk and I can easily delete them.

Also, I'm not sure of this elsewhere, but replying 'STOP' to a spammy text or email message with result in the sender legally obligated to, well, stop.

I have hotmail, if you set your account type to exclusive in the junk email filter in your settings, and that will make sure only people in your contacts list will go through to your inbox, then pushed to any devices set up with the emai; such as your phone.
Of course you should still check Junk mail every week or two.

Where's your proof for this?

Well, Hotmail is garbage, so you might want to just scrap it and get a GMail. I've used it for years and unless you post your email addy on every page you visit then it works great at blocking spam.

Mail.com provides some really nice email address and some interesting domains, they are free which is good and I get virtually no spam with them.

It's really easy.
Step 1: Don't use Hotmail
Step 2: Never use Hotmail again
Step 3: Go anywhere else. AOL, Yahoo, it doesn't matter
Step 4: Enjoy life

And like anybody actually listens to that.

I've been careful to only put my hotmail address on legit sites. My Facebook has its own, that gets spammed. In my actual account, only my PayPal and eBay are the only ones that have my address. I literally get no spam in that account.

I use Gmail, I got spammed by facebook requests, so I tagged all emails sent from facebook as spam, they are listed in the spam section I never visit.
