Drink hot tea. I'm a performer. Rest your voice and don't strain. That's probably what's wrong.

it might be puberty buddy. not a whole loe you can do about growing up.
just enjoy it while you still have it because you're at just the right age for voice cracks and eventually a deeper "manlier" voice.
but hey, it's also possible that it's all that other stuff you said. cold, tired, not enough liquids.
either way man, if you're a good singer then you're voice getting deeper shouldn't change anything except what pitch you sing in.

There's no way you can sustain your soprano voice unfortunately once your voice breaks. I too was a boy soprano until my voice broke, now I'm a baritenor. Singing range is something we unfortunately don't have very much control over.

Trust me, having an adult voice is much better! There's so many more things you can do with it and allows for more involvement in ensemble music. There are very rarely parts in musical, opera, choir or whatever for male contralto or male soprano.

My former choir teacher said to either us decaf tea or warm salt water to gargle it. Some of the answers here have really been helpful. I'm 18 and this is my 3rd year being in the High School choir and I always considered to be a wide ranging tenor and I still can hit some high notes just not as easily as I used to be able do.

best thing to do to be able to sing high soprano is to just keep working at your voice after it drops and you will still be able to hit those high soprano notes. trust me i had the same problem and thats what i did to keep it.

Yeah. It's a hard adjustment. I was very involved musically (as in like legit audition wait for a call back and rehearse for weeks on end stuff) and had quite the soprano voice. While that's not the case anymore, I'm not really into singing now. Ive take my musical talents and applied them to multiple instruments. In other words, once my voice changed, I kinds just quit singing haha. You'll be fine though, make sure you keep practicing or you will lose a lot of your range very quickly after your voice changes (that's part of why I quit).
