I am very confused?

I have only ever had 4 girlfriends, but now after 2 years, I no longer have someone to spend my time with. Most of my friends are girls, but I am NOT GAY, the troube is, is I do not see how I do not have anyone in my life right now, I am a nice guy, but I am not a wimpy pushover, I stand up for myself and my lady, and I am not animalistic or rude, as I do not immediately ask for sex, if the girl is into it, then alright!, but I never beg like a lot of guys do. I am decently good-looking, I am 5 foot 7 inches tall, I weigh 130 pounds but I am not chubby, I am actually slim. I have good teeth/breath, and a deep (not midrange, but not deep-deep either), soothing voice. Acne is very minimal, and my hair is soft, but longer than most guys. I have toned muscular physique. I am witty, I am a pretty funny guy, and I can actually hold a conversation, unlike the athletic Neanderthals most drool over.

Summation: smart, funny, and pretty good-looking. (Although I am a geek at heart) and no, size is not a problem here, and neither is confidence.

Question: so, why do girls fall for Neanderthals or a**holes, but no one wants to take a chance on me?

because girls i guess like bad asses and figure thats all there is out there and they never give nice guys like you a chance... like my boyfriend is just like you has the same prsonality etc. its hard to find guys like you... very hard because all there seems to be no a days is bad ass guys who like to use girls for sex.... and other things
its sad really but todays thats what most society is like.. keep your head up and make yourself known i am sure there is someone out there waiting for you to come along.. dont worry your time will come :)

i have had girlfriends of guys come up to me and complain and cry about how nasty their boyfriends are.. and then they tell me im so sweet and they wish they could find someone like me.... yes the poster above is my girlfriend and i agree 100% with what she said.

anyways man good luck. its harder then you think to find the right girl to be with and settle down with because alot of girls out there are the same and treat us guys who are nice they way they treat the assholes.

"Athletic Neanderthals?" Sorry but I can't stand that assumption that all idiots do sports and everyone that does sports is an idiot, that is beyond primitive.
You think yourself as such a great catch, and wonder why others don't. Most people don't like someone so judgy, even if it's true. Even if you don't say it out loud to anyone else, people can get that vibe from your inner thoughts alone. Don't underestimate that they can.
You've only ever had 4 girlfriends? You're not collecting them bro. You can have had 50 and be the worst boyfriend ever. Or you could have had 1 and been the world's greatest. I've only ever had 3 boyfriends and I am 19. My current is my longest, nearly 2 years. I'd rather only have ever had 3, than go through 12 in a month like most girls around me.

You've had 4 girlfriends. You've clearly had people take a chance on you. It happened before, it can happen again. Don't go digging in the bucket for it or you'll pull out crap, but don't sit in the corner huffing and puffing at the "Neanderthals". Look in places where people share your interests and don't go into any relationship in pursuit of anything romantic. The fastest way to drive a girl away to go in with the intent of being her boyfriend, it makes us feel like you have a net and you're just waiting to drop it on us.

In a sense, go to those who interest you, but let the romantic pursuers come to you.
