Aren't there different rules for different places? Here there's no age restriction, but you do have to be mature enough to handle the looks you'll get from the cashier, who will almost always be of the other sex because that's life.

Haha that made my day! :D Its really true though.
I remember back in 7th grade some boys coming to class with them, saying they bought some...

As long as you have money to buy them, that's all that matters. Anyone can buy them regardless of age

There isn't really and "specific" age.
However I know some shops in the UK, well Scotland (not 100% sure in England and Wales) have a store policy which states that they won't allow anyone under the age of 16 to buy condoms as they see it as promoting underage sex otherwise.
However there is no legal age. However some shops do have store policies.

I agree thier proably isn't an actual age restriction but left to the discresion of the store and the cashier. Case in point a 11 yr old goes to the drug store and the condoms are behind the counter. it's pretty much up to the person behind the counter to make the decision to sell them or not. I would think most would at least ask a few questions before proceeding with the sell. so maybe it's more a moral issue

There is normally not a specific age but generally when you enter high school at around 14 or 15 is when it is the easiest to get them.
A lot of the time, schools will offer them for free at a high school for students and it also seems less odd if you are buying them at that age.

Legally stores have to sell condoms to anyone that can pay for them. Yes it is a very bad thing to have young kids doing this sort of thing; but without condoms, it would be much worse.

This is interesting. I always thought they could refuse service to anyone for any reason, although of course they might get bad press.

I have been buying condoms ever sense I was 14, I replace them every few months just to be safe.

And come to think about it every time I bought them, the cashier was female...
