Still life doesn't have to be straight-on replications of the object ya'know. I don't mean to offend, and I'm always over-critical, but you took the initiative and started which is awesome. Don't give it up! Still life is awesome. Keep experimenting and trying new things and keep us posted. What lens was that by the way?

I LOVE the second picture! It's amazing, you did a really great job! And I agree with Steve Jobs, you should next time try to set up a scene full of objects that correspond, and if you're feeling risky, that don't correspond :p But I see great potential here, and am excited to see more of your work uploaded :)

If you do a search in the photography forum for threads started by me you can find many examples of my work.

For some reason I seem to have deleted my wildlife photos, so I've reposted a few here (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?p=2059161).

I loved the cat and the stuffed toy.
The other ones made me laugh, I don't know why though :D

That's not the most constructive criticism ever. Negative is OK, but at least explain why.

I didn't mean that in a negative way, I literally meant that the images conveyed humor. When I said that they were funny I didn't mean like funny as in bad I meant funny as in they made me smile and I really don't know why. Maybe the simplicity of the depicted objects? I really couldn't say
