My friend might need help

My friend cuts. Ive know this for a long time, but we no longer live near eachother. She was recently diagnosed with life-threatening cancer, and has only 3 years to live. She has been rather depressed lately, is there anything I can do to help her?

I'm so sorry that all this has happened to her, that's really horrible especially for someone so young. I hope that she is able to be treated for her cancer and that the treatment is able to eradicate the cancer. That's enough to depress the happiest person. I know you care about her, and the best thing you can do at this point is just keep caring about her, and just be there for her. Be there to talk to her when she needs it, do whatever you can to try and cheer her up when she needs it, just be a friend to her, because it's tough to go through any of that, let alone going through it at a young age. Having someone there for her will help her, but if she needs some room or becomes distant, let her be for a little, it's a lot for her to handle and chances are she'll need a little time to come to terms with it all. We're all here if you need us, and we're here if she needs us too! I hope that things get better for her!
