Okay, i don't know how many of you guys have had this happen, but i know that it has happened to my friend and he has asked me what to do.

Okay, so when he went through puberty, he got all these stretch marks and since he swims, he doesn't want them to be visible. So to that end, he wanted me to tell him how to get rid of them. So, guys any hints, tips, or ideas?

well, i cant think of any sure-fire reasons to hide stretch marks, besides a shirt, or maybe some makeup?

well, this is at swim practice and meets. he came to me because i also swim, but unlike him, i don't have any. He said that he does not like it because he is the only one out of 40 guys on the team to have the marks

I don't think there is anyway to get rid of them. Maybe some sort of skin cream?

Vitamin e oil will help grow the skin in faster but they'll be there for a while, they make other creams for pregnant women that'll work too

I think you should be honest and responsible and advise your friend to see a doctor - seek prof help.

Try BIO-OIL. the stuff works wonders on stretch marks, burn scars and other skin blemishes. Not sure if it's available where you are.
A friend of mine used it after she had her baby, she had mega stretch marks, it helped a lot. I have a seven inch burn scar across my lower belly (loooong story) I used BIO-OIK on it. It took most of the pinkish discoloration out of the scar. Can't really see it... unless you see the spot of no hair in the middle of my trail lol

Like some have said. Bio Oil and Rescue Oil works wonders. I think Bio Oil can be slightly pricey (I have never seen the price of Bio Oil but I have heard rumors of it being price, not sure though) but it does work wonders for stretch marks.

Also Rescue Oil is like Bio Oil. It does the same and is common in quite a few shops.

These both work really well.

Also since he is young, if he uses this then it should clear up quicker as the skin is much more supple and flexible when you're younger. So it should clear up nicely.

I got horrific stretch marks on my thighs when I started doing intense gymnastics training, the quick build up of muscle in my legs caused the marks to appear. Looking at my thighs now I can't even see where they were, in my experience they just disappear in time.

tell him not to worry, they will go away on their own
