how is rep still being taken

i have my rep power bar disabled so people cant +rep or neg rep me
but im still recieving neg rep from members..

how is this possible when i have my rep status disabled?
can people other then admins still access it?

It doesn't disable you from getting rep. It just no longer displays it to the general public of the forums.

You can still get + and - rep. It just no longer displayed rep or green blocks. Instead it just shows a gray block and then the rep power.

Disabling it doesn't stop you from getting rep, it just prevents people from seeing your green or red blocks.
