Hi, i'm jenny
Four years ago, i started getting bullied. Normal bullying, except that my bullies were my best friends. A boy and a girl in my class, called matthew and lucy. I had and still have a large crush on matthew. i couldnt avoid them, cos my class was so small. I let it go on for a year. I was finally convinced to tell. My teacher already knew. She said she could see it in my face when i was in class with them, but she couldnt do anything cos no-one told her. At the time, i didnt know it was bullying. we became friends again, but it was so hard, just accepting them again. A year later, my dad got a promotion, and we had to move to the other side of the country, where i was to attend a new, larger school. This was where i met evelina. She told me everything about herself. I told her about me. there was another new kid in my class, david. Short, no genius and filled with attitude. He started to bully me and evelina. But there was a difference to this bullying. Evelina was an outcast in the class. She was 2 years older than everyone else, held back cos she was foreign and at first could not speak english. She was picked on by most everyone. When we evetually told on david, he stopped bullying me, but not evelina. when i stood up for her, he kicked me. That was the first time it had been physical. I made another friend, alanna, who put a stop to it all. During the period of time when i was bullied, i turned to music. All my life i had recieved compliments on my voice, so i started singing and playing guitar. I am now adept at piano and guitar. All through this time, I considered suicide. But I never did it.
Sorry for the long post, its just my current group of friends in my new school know nothing of this, and i really needed to tell SOMEONE the whole story. Thanks for reading,
Bye

Today in school a boy in my class made a remark about me killing myself. These people in my class now are all people who know nothing about anything that happened to me before. So I decied to tell one of my friends about it. Everything. I said "Remember earlier, when chris made that remark about killing myself in maths? I diidnt know how to tell you, but about 6 months ago, I was considering suicide." And this girl, who wasnt even particularly close to me, hugged me. And I truly felt all thoughts of suicide were instantly banished from my mind. This post is to tell ANYONE out there who is being bullied and considering suicide, PLEASE DONT DO IT. Honestly, people who hardly even know you will miss you, and your bullies will feel a pain no-one should ever have to feel. Thanks for reading.

Yes, but Jenny, when you feel really suicidal, you just want to punish all the people who did wrong to you and got away with it :/
I agree that music is a great way to escape from a crap life, keeps me going :)
If you ever want to talk, I'll listen :)

One question for you to think of. Why are you listening to them? Who told yoou that what they say is true?
Take a moment to think ;)

Nick, do you have someone you love and care about? What would you do if they turned around and startedd saying things about you? What would you do if people you had called friends started calling you fat, picking on you and excluding you? I was 7. My crush was literally CRUSHING me.

I know it's hard. But You must find a way to get over it. Is any of the things they said true? I know it's REALLY hard, because I have been in a similar thing before, but you just 1. Turn around and do the same too or 2. Try your best and ignore them.
Best of luck

In my opinion, nearly everyone gets bullied at some point in their lives. At work or school. But alot of people never really get further than name-calling or being told they aren't good at sports or something. I have been bullied before, and I told. It's the best thing to do. Luckily for me, it wasn't physical, just idle threats. At the time i didn't know that, but I do now. Anyways, back to you, what you suffered is very different. People considered your 'friends' did things to you which they shouldn't. What you should learn from this experience is to stand up for yourself more, and show people you are proud to be who you are and not to let anybody push you around. Also, remember this, it is said that people who are bullied bully others in return to make themselves feel better, so the bully may not be as bad as you think inside, but theya re seeing you as a way of coping with their own stress. If you EVER want to talk to anyone, or feel sad, please do not hesitate to PM me, I be on everyday for a few minutes. Thanks for posting that by the way, it got me thinking :)

That's it, it's just low. You're higher then them. Don't let what they say get you down because you're better then them and you'll always have to deal with generally bad people in this world. Luckily not all people are bad, like that girl that hugged you. There are decent people in this world. :P
I'm here for you, and stay strong :D
