My Steam account got hijacked and I had to send an entire email to Steam support for help. It's been 5 days and they haven't replied. I made a new account just to go to Steam forums and inquire about it.
Guess what? When I clicked "post", they said I posted too many damn posts too frequently when I have not, in fact, posted anything at all! This is fucking ridiculous.
Can someone tell me what the hell is going on? I know Steam isn't as bad as Origin, but seriously? I have to create different separate accounts just for Steam and Steam Support. And now I can't even inquire about it on Steam because apparently, I posted too many damn things which I absolutely did not do.
What the fuck man

Yeah, that does sound pretty shitty, but what is this "steam" website? Like, a forum or some shit?

You have cheated on one of their games, and used hacks. They are shitting with you.
Wonder.

Steam is a game manager/market/whatever.

Sorry to hear about your problems. I've been hearing a lot of bad things about steam lately.

Steam forums underwent huge maintenance, expect problems with it. And Valve has a lot going on, they will get to you as they can.

Impossible. In fact, it is a guy who STOLE MY STEAM ACCOUNT. If Steam should be shitting with anyone, it's the twap who stole my account. I'm innocent. I'm not as mad as I was when I created that post, but I still am. It's been a week and they haven't responded to my email about my hijacked account. This is "Steam Support" guys. Where they blame you for posting too many posts when you, in fact, have not posted one. Where your account is hijacked, and it's you who suffer all their crap. Where they force you to make 2 accounts for 2 damn things that result in nothing.
This is "Steam Support" guys.

Thank you. I've encountered even more problems lately. They requested for me to confirm my Steam Account because apparently, I was using a different computer or it's been a period of time since I last activated my account. Funny thing is, the account was created just a day ago. I created the account JUST TO ASK ABOUT MY HIJACKED ACCOUNT ON THE FORUMS. And they wanted me to confirm it by going to my email. After I confirmed it, I clicked "forums" and suddenly, my account was logged out again. I tried to log in.
I had to confirm my account again.
I seriously can't take this. What really fustrates me is not about Steam's performance, but because it's reputation for being a good software of running video games. If this is what it takes to get such a good reputation ...
Steam forums underwent huge maintenance, expect problems with it. And Valve has a lot going on, they will get to you as they can.
Ok, but I seem to be the only guy with so many problems with Steam. It's so screwed to the point where I cannot post anything on the forums because they said "I posted too many posts" when I didn't post anything at all. Everybody else is complaining about minor problems like a video game is glitching up, which doesn't even have anything to do with Steam.
I swear, it's like Steam is screwing with me and they're not even allowing me to voice it out on their website.
Yeah, that does sound pretty shitty, but what is this "steam" website? Like, a forum or some shit?
Steam is a downloadable engine that runs various video games, like Skyrim and Call of Duty for the PC platform. It's pretty much essential if you want to play a video game and that's why I'm so pissed.

I contacted Steam live support and they asked for a CD key of a game. As simple as that for me.
Also, if someone hacked your Steam account, they might of hacked your E-mail account. Change your e-mail password. I know this because if you log into your steam account on a new PC it requires a code to be entered which is send to your e-mail.
Also, scan your PC for a virus.

When my friend's account was hijacked it took him a month to restore it. About frequent posts. It seems you have dynamic IP address and another guy with same IP sent this frequent posts so server permanently blocked posts for your IP. Just restart your modem\router and try again, should work.

A lot of the times you are better off calling them than emailing since email and such is a pain and they aren't as proactive as a call.

that sounds like the normal steam support BS... don't expect a reply soon if at all... their reputation comes mostly from blind fanboys tbh... as of late not even their sales are really that good.
