Right now, I have this nasty cold I got on Thursday. It literally came on in about an hour or so. I had to go home early because I just couldn't pay attention. What is the point of school if you can't pay attention? Well, I still have it, and I'm sick of it. I missed school yesterday. Might miss some today. Well, earlier this year, I had something, I don't know what, but I had it for about 2 months. It was a pain in the ass to get rid of, and to make things harder, I'm allergic to 3 medicines, amoxicillin, augmentin, and ceftin. Could this be related, or is it just flu season. I've had no fever, been quite low actually, and I haven't thrown up. Either which way, I'm just sick of being sick! Mainly because of missed school work. It's not like elementary where you could miss a few days, be fine and not really make anything up. Now, you're expected to make everything up. I'm just sick it. I wish I could be healthy forever. Unfortunately, that is impossible.

I wish I could be healthy forever. Unfortunately, that is impossible.

Yes; that is true.....it is impossible. Especially when one considers that some people live their life always trying to be healthy....eating well and exercising and all the other things that we're told are good to do or not do. Even then....good health is certainly not guaranteed.

Still.....do the best you can....practice moderation.....and try to appreciate the great gift that good health is.....for as long as you can.

Hope you're feeling better soon....

Some people who get sick often are actually deficient in vitamin a. Not that being deficient in vitamin a is necessarily unhealthy, but it does add to your immune health. There are also some over the counter 'immune boosters' that help to prevent colds or other seasonal illness before it happens.

Using a daily vitamin a supplement or other form of immune strengthener will definitely help in reducing the amount of time that you're sick.

I can sympathize with you. While I am not allergic to any of the common medicines. For whatever reason, this year I have been getting the flu and various other viruses and colds. It seems every few months something is wrong.

Anyway I hope you get better soon. :)
