my ex boyfriend... one of my best guy friends while i was dating my ex.... (but he knew about it) and my current boyfriend...

i have cheated on my current with my ex multiple times so does this make me a whore... or is a whore like a person who actually sleeps around
this name has come to my attention alot because someone keeps calling me a slut and a whore....

i think its really up to you, and also your current or ex boyfriend. Whore isnt really an official title, its an opinion and sometimes peoples opinions like that are completely ridiculous. But if you think that your sleeping around is a problem of yours, or it became a problem between you and your boyfriend, then you might use it as a means of identity. Really, whore isnt a good thing, and for you to use it would basically just show you acknowledge you didnt handle a situation with those guys well. But you shouldnt let a term or name someone calls you define you or anything.
I personally think that cheatings pretty bad, and in some respects has some whorish qualities that go with it, but i dont know all the details or what you were thinking, so im not gonna judge

I'd say a whore is someone who only "likes" someone for the sexual experience / pleasure. Someone who has an addiction to cheap sex.
Anything else is just standard complicated relationships.
It's hard to classify someone by their teenage identity, since we all have hormones flying around and stuff.

Have you even bothered to think about STDs or what would happen if you got pregnant? Just because he wears a condom and your on the pill doesn't mean you're protected.

This trend is only going to lead to pain for you. I beg you to please try and stop this cycle of starting a relarionship, cheating on him, and then breaking up. Its just terrible. I was honest in this post because I wish the best for you, please don't take it as me just hating, but someone had to say it. Please make a change for the better.

Really? Look, I've been here for nearly 4 years and because I give people advice to make their life better, not because I hand out compliments or give people a false sense of happiness or security. You asked for an opinion, I gave you one. You got angry because I gave you the truth and your afraid it face it. I said in my original post I don't prefer the word whore, but according to Merriam Webster, and every other reputable dictionary, a whore is a "promiscous or immoral woman". personally i dont think so, i define a whore as someone who sleeps around for sport. And there are quite a few girls that I know of who have slept with many more guys in a much shorter time span. I think labels are a way of generalizing issues that are usually complicated. Your situation is definitely complicated, and maybe there were some choices made that shouldn't have been, but nobody's perfect. You can change your habits, and be a strong person. We all have room to grow, and the fact that you recognize that something might not be right is a good sign. ok for starters I hate the labeling of people just because what they do or don't do. Having sex with 3 people over the last year doesn't make you a whore and what other people say shouldn't really count but it does hurt sometimes. You answered back and clearly stated you didn't think you where a whore. clearly there are some self esteem issues that you need to resolve and and the fact no matter how many people here tell you your not a whore may not be the best way to address them.
