LOL um okay so I get EMA. That's £30 a week from my school. In the last few years I haven't gotten ANYONE a present for Christmas OR their Birthday, not even my mother. :( Mainly because we're poor and I don't get money except for Christmas and my Birthday and I'm not very good at saving..Anyway my mother has explicitly stated that she doesn't want any sh*tty presents like perfume or a box of chocolates. She wants JEWELLERY! GOLD! SILVER! DIAMONDS! So I tried looking in a jewellery store but it's all like £500 and that = money from Birthday, Christmas and a few weeks of EMA. But I haven't managed to save anything and I also have to buy presents for other people too but tomorrow I get my EMA payment so I thought I'd look in the Argos catalogue for jewellery and lots of it is in my price range.. is getting jewellery from Argos..kind of like getting jewellery from ASDA? Is it chintzy? Does Argos even sell real gold/silver? I'll rep ALL your answers, I swear! ;)

I removed the white as some of us use the Christmas theme and SilverBlue theme and it is hard to read posts when in those colors.

Anyway, I find some of the things in Argos to be really nice. It does have really nice Jewelry and I have gotten a few things out of Argos before. It is real and it is nice. I have a gold chain out of Argos and I have worn it everyday. They do some nice things.

Also since your mum knows you aren't well off or anything like that then she'd understand if it wasn't a 50c gold ring with encrusted diamonds :) She is going to like whatever you get her. Don't worry about the location of store.

i think your mom stated that cause she know it beyond your means, and she just want you to save the money..

I don't know much about jewelry either. I assume it is good. Like the higher the number the better? I dunno. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't.
