I can't seem to get through my writer's block. I mean, I can come up with some pretty neat chord progressions, but I can never seem to find lyrics for a song. I was wondering if maybe anyone could give me some pointers, they'd be greatly appreciated. :)

Maybe you should try writing your melody first, I usually start with a chord progression then a melody. Then I create lyrics for my melody and then develop my chord progression into a proper accompaniment. I write for piano and vocals usually, so it works pretty well for me.
If that doesn't work then try writing your lyrics in a place you've never done it before, I like to write mine in a field next to my house. You can try writing down what you see and then translating it into a song.
I once wrote a song about having writers block, and then translated it into something much more meaningful!
Good luck with your composing!
