Hello there! I've been taking intrest into becoming either an animator, or a game designer. I have a talent in both of those things thankfully. The only problem is that I live in a small town two hours away from the nearest city in Atlantic Canada. I was wondering if any of you might know of a good place go go when I finish school? Thanks for reading!

From what I've heard, Montreal is a pretty great city and has a large film making industry. If you want to be an animator, or something along those lines, it could be a good place to possibly get started. If I were you I would learn as much as I could about your field and what kinds of jobs are offered in it, specifically in your general area, unless you're looking to go out and move to a new area.

I don't know about any schools in canada, but in the states Full Sail University, The Academy Of Art University, and The Art Institutes are all pretty good schools. I'm at the art institute as a media arts & animation major.

Full Sail University

OMG please don't tell me you just seriously recommended full sail to somebody. They are little more than a joke.

For Game Design, as well as animation, I would recommend none other than the best: DigiPen.

if you are serious about animation i would look at the credits at the end of Toy Story or something like that and get the names of those animators and then write to them in care of Pixar and ask them for advice on where to go. They are the best at what they do and they also are doing it for a living so they should know where the good schools are or at least could tell you where they learned.
