I need help,fast!

I got the -k netsvcs file from system 32 deleted somehow,probably a virus of some sort,can someone please upload it for me to try to download it? I can't go on internet now,because that file blocks firewall and the entire internet,so now i am on a ubuntu,i use a xp sp3,also i would like for someone to upload svchost,since i am not sure if there is a problem with that as well,i tried searching for the files on google,but no luck and i really don't want to have to reintall the entire OS.It doesn't matter even if it doesn't work,i would like to try,thanks.

Can you get this from your installation CD? Have you tried booting in recovery or safe mode (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307654)?

My cd-rom doesn't work,so i can't do it that way unfortuntaly,i tried safe mode,s.m. with networking etc. but none of them worked.

Have you tried contacting Microsoft support?

And then what? Just over-write everything, deleting all the files and programs installed already?

its unlikely that you'll be able to upload that calibre of file onto the internet - your anti-virus would probably block it. your best bet is to run a full system restore. it wont affect your documents, just programs that've been recently installed; ie, viruses etc.
