I have one of my old friends from pennsylvania currently staying with me for a while. The point is that she went to the bathroom to shave while I was downstairs chilling with my family. After like 10 or 15 min, she called out to me and so I went to her. She had a big stain of blood and she was holding her crotch. I got scared and so I was like "what up did u get ur period!" Then she started to cry and she said "No, i was shaving and I hurt my self down there and it real painful and I don't know what to do." She was crouched down and could not stand up. I yelled at my older sister to come quick and she also panicked and so we called our mom and she came running upstairs. My mom told her to come to the hospital but she wouldn't cause shes embarrassed! This is a serious thing how could she be embarrassed. Eventually my sister got her to the car and drove her and now their both in the hospital. She couldnt sand up and so i was going to tell my older bro to pick her up and get her to the car but then she got angry and said no I dont want anyone to see the blood down there because it was leaking badly through her pants, which were white skinies. I got her a skirt to wear over it before she left. I dont know is this a fatal accident because she didnt look well and if its not fatal is it something that could affect her in the future or even when ur having sex? She hasnt come back yet but when i called my sis she said that she and the doctor are inside the room together and my sis is outside since their checking her. I feel so bad and when ever i think of it I leterally shiver. Can you guys give me some feedback?
Ps: Something similar happened to waxing and I read about it from somewhere on the internet, or i think my mom told me.

Sounds like just a bad cut. I can't imagine a fatal accident because of shaving. Maybe a couple stitches will be needed. She probably went into shock from it which is why she couldn't stand. That's common for many people when they see blood.

It's good you guys got her to the hospital because if the cut was deep enough she could have lost a lot of blood which can be fatal, but I doubt that would've happened from just shaving. I'm sure she'll be ok :)

It's very good that you got her to the hospital as there's a very large artery in the thighs. Checking to see if it's been severed is very important. However, even if it was just a small cut there are a lot of veins and arteries in the genital area so even a little cut will bleed a lot.
Is your friend okay with the sight of blood? As cheergurl said that could be the reason she couldn't stand up - shock. But because that area is so sensitive it's more likely she was shocked at the cut itself. As long as she obeys the doctors orders on looking after it until it's healed, she should be fine. She should also be aware of the dangers of shaving that area - I'm not judging, I shave down there myself but it's really quite unhealthy.
That's all I can say, really. I hope your friend is okay and that this doesn't spoil her trip to see you.

Thanks for everyone who replied. Yeah, when its a lot of blood she gets dizzy and she said it was real painful. She came back with my sis a while ago and shes alright and she said when they cleaned off all the blood it wasnt a bog cut. Shes not going to be able to shave for a while though and there many creams and things the doctor gave her. Other than that shes alright :) Its pretty scary though and painful so im going to be caeful as well.

Sounds like she just got a bad nic with the blade. Probably best that ya'll went to the hospital though it probably could have been just bandaged up. I just myself bad like the second or third time I shaved like that. Just have to be careful.

That sucks that she can't shave for awhile. I'd go insane if I couldn't shave. I hate having hair down there.

I think not shaving for a while is a very reasonable outcome of cutting your vagina. Could of been much worse

Aw, I hope she's okay.
I'd probably have a massive panic attack... I can't stand cuts/sharp objects.
