What age did you have your first girlfriend, its just i am turning 16 soon, and i have not had a real girlfriend, havent kissed a girl outside the family, do you think this is weird
I have heard that when you go through puberty, you usually get your first girlfriend, first kiss etc.
PS I'm not gay, i just don't WANT to go out with anyone
ALSO, if you havent had a girlfriend, PLEASE DONT VOTE

I'm 15 and haven't yet either. I don't want a girfriend because everyone else has one, but I want one because sometimes I feel like I have an empty place in side... and only thoughts of companionship make me feel better. Damn it's soo confusing...

Don't worry about it, you'll find the right girl!

It is not something which you should do by a certain age.
If you don't want a relationship right now then that is fine. Just let yourself be without worrying about being different or anything because you don't want or have a girlfriend at the moment.

I'm 16 and I've never had a boyfriend before. Well ok, I've never had a real boyfriend before. Looking at some of the jerks in my school/community, I applaud you for being confident enough to not be totally freaked out by the pressure to be dating and acnowledging the fact that it's your choice. Kudos for you!
I'm rather like you in that I just don't want to date anybody. I mean sure, I'd love to have that special someone to hug and hold hands with, etc, but quite frankly there are other things to my life that I'm rather intent on enjoying :daisy:

i think its very rare to have a 'serious' relationship under the age of 15.
Ive had plenty of girlfriends over the last 4 or so years, but only 1 has been what i would consider serious.
My first actual relationship however was at the age of 12

I've never had a real girlfriend, I wasn't really sexually attracted to any gender until like seventh grade, but nobody had serious girlfriends/boyfriends in my school at that time, and now (I'm in 9th grade), I'm very shy, and act like an idiot around girls. But I have one girl in my mind who I think I might have a chance with. I've never worked up the guts to ask out a girl... hopefully that will change... or a girl will ask me out (which doesn't happen often in my school)... But yeah.. I can live life w/o a girlfriend for now.. only one of my friends has a girlfriend, and I wouldn't call it a "serious" relationship.

I got mine earlier on this year, when I was 15. We always used to laugh and joke together, and then she said she had feelings for me. I had liked her for about 2 months before she said. Now, we couldn't be happier.
