Are there any SCUBA Divers on here?

What's your certification?
How many dives have you logged?
Where have you been diving?
Do you have your own equipment? If so, what?
What's your favourite dive?
etc. :)

I have a PADI Advanced Open Water Certification and I haven't logged any dives outside of my courses :( I am going to dive these holidays though when I go to Mauritius! :D So I have only logged 8 Dives (I think).

I have only been diving around False Bay in Cape Town - So I am used to cold conditions with poor visibility (In my last dive I had 4-10m vis. which is considered good here :yeah: and the bottom temp was 13' C... And that's during the summer ;)

My favourite dive is probably Pyramid Rock because I saw over a dozen of Seven Gill Cow Sharks that dive!

I don't own equipment yet...

i love diving, but i can't do it certified due to financial reasons, maybe when family friend comes back he could help/teach me, but i want to lean how to dive. closest i have come to diving is free diving with snorkeling equipment. got within touching distance of a black tip reef shark in the Galapagos

Diving is amazing! It sucks that you can't do it because of money :( I think it is over-priced as it is.
It isn't recommended that someone who isn't at least a Divemaster would teach you how to dive, because it can be dangerous if you don't know what you're doing.

Wow! Your free-dive in the Galapagos sounds really cool!
