Similar situation here... Wearing panties less and less, but I do like tasting myself while I play. It helps me fantasize about other girls :)

You're certainly not alone doing this for arousal, but it's also quite important to check the smell down there for health reasons. Know what kind of smell is down there and how it changes throughout your cycle. And anything strange should immediately be noted. A yeasty smell indicates you could have thrush, which most women get at some stage in their life. A fishy smell could mean Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) which 1 in 3 women get at some stage. You get the idea. I check my underwear every night as part of my daily health check ... which sounds a little ridiculous put down in writing like that.

Don't worry about it, everyone has their own little quirks to their sexuality.
